Sewer work pinches stretch on Harbor Drive

An emergency sewer project has led to the closure this week of the southbound lanes of Harbor Drive while crews repair below-ground vaults and replace manholes between 28th and 32nd streets, officials said.

One northbound lane of Harbor Drive will be open through Sunday.

The Harbor Drive and Belt Street intersection will be closed, but large delivery trucks can request access before 4 p.m.

No completion date has been set.
