Vote-by-mail ballots and the corresponding voter education pamphlets were mailed Monday to local voters. About 15,000 ballots were mailed in Yolo County.

The ballots were mailed separately from the pamphlets, said Susie Patenaude, assistant clerk/recorder in the Yolo Elections Office. Each should arrive in mailboxes across the city over the next few days, though not necessarily together.

Patenaude said permanent absentee voters who do not receive their ballots or their pamphlets by next week should call the Elections Office at (530) 666-8133.
