The following information was released by the Orange County Registrar of Voters.

A recent fire at the Emanuel Lutheran Church in La Habra threatened to cancel voting at the church, which has been in the same location since 1994.

We rely on the community to provide their homes, businesses, schools and churches in order to provide locations for voters to vote. For this election we are using 1,109 of these sites.

Despite the fire, church officials worked hard to find another location at the church that we could use.

As a result voters will now be able to use a separate room directly next to the church parking lot – keeping the site in the same location.

Voting can now continue in this La Habra location as it has for 18 years.
