Alameda County is looking for poll workers to help with the June 5 presidential primary election. Poll workers earn between $110 and $180 for their service.
To qualify, adults must be registered to vote and attend a mandatory training class before Election Day.
Teens 16 years old or older also are eligible to work as poll workers through the county student poll worker program. They must be students in good academic standing, receive faculty permission and also attend a mandatory training before June 5.
