Candidates for a number of local offices, including numerous school boards and city councils, can begin pulling and filing nomination papers Monday.

The nomination period for the Nov. 4 election lasts until 5 p.m. Aug. 8. Voters interested in running for special or school district seats can pick up papers from their county registrar of voters . Candidates for city council seats need to go to their local city clerk.

For a complete list of races that will appear on the November ballot, voters can go to the registrars ' offices or Web sites.

Riverside County's registrar of voters is at 2724 Gateway Drive, Riverside or www.voteinfo.net.

San Bernardino County's registrar of voters is at 777 E. Rialto Ave., San Bernardino or www.sbcrov.com.
