EUREKA -- The Humboldt County Elections Office will hold logic and accuracy testing for the ballots and equipment to be used in the Feb. 5 presidential primary election at 2 p.m. Monday. Prior to each election, the office tests ballots and equipment to ensure that all ballot types are read correctly, and all ballot counting equipment is fully functional and correctly counting votes. A Logic and Accuracy Observer Panel is convened, pursuant to the California secretary of state's approved AccuVote procedures, to certify the validity and outcome of the testing.

Anyone interested in taking part in the testing is asked to call the Humboldt County Elections Office at 445-7678. The testing will be held in Room 20 of the Humboldt County Elections Office, 3033 H St.
